After a promising start to the 2022 season, the Washington Commanders now find themselves 1-2 entering Dallas Week, with an underperforming defense and an inconsistent offense. Ron Rivera has a worse win-loss record than Jay Gruden did at the same point of his Washington tenure, and Jack Del Rio's defense has been gouged repeatedly during his time as defensive coordinator. After a week one win against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Carson Wentz and the Washington Commanders have an opportunity to do something that this team hasn't done since 2011; Start a season 2-0. This week's matchup in Detroit against the Lions represents an incredible opportunity for Washington to control their own destiny at the start of a season, which is not something they've done in a long time. With winnable games coming on the schedule in the next month, if the Commanders can take care of business in Detroit, then season 2022 is about to get very interesting! Twitter:
