Training Camp: Preview

Exciting times are afoot, listeners; the long and dreary offseason is finally over, and the 2016 Washington Redskins Training Camp is right around the corner!

Soon the Redskins players will be putting on the pads and going to work, so to celebrate the fact that Training Camp is held in Richmond, VA, hosts Chad and Mark dial up friend of the show Michael Phillips from the Richmond Times Dispatch once again.

Tune in to hear us give an overview of what each day of Training Camp actually entails, which players we'll be watching closely, and what our expectations are for the Redskins as a team at camp will be.

As always with Michael Phillips, this was a fun and entertaining chat, whilst also being truly insightful, so we hope you enjoy it!

Offseason March 3rd - Cousins tagged, Combine insight, & Galette

There is no offseason; there is 'Redskins season' and there is 'waiting for Redskins season'. Right now, we are deep into the latter, but that doesn't mean there isn't plenty to talk about to keep you all up to date with everything that's happening inside Redskins Park!

This week, hosts Chad and Mark are joined by official friend of the show Brian McNally from 106.7 The Fan to talk about freshly franchise tagged Kirk Cousins and all the ramifications of that move. We also discuss what it was like in Indianapolis at the Combine with Scot McCloughan and the Redskins contingent. And finally, we talk about Junior Galette and his quest to return to the Redskins in 2016.

When it comes to staying informed of what is happening with the Washington Redskins during the offseason, we here at Redskins Capital Connection have you well and truly covered!

Thanks for listening.

Griffin era over, Cousins named starter

It's official; the Robert Griffin III era is over in Washington DC.

After Head Coach Jay Gruden named Kirk Cousins the starter for the 2015 season, we knew that there was no better person to speak to about this change than the Washington Post's Jerry Brewer, who joins us for this weeks episode.

Brewer knows General Manager Scot McCloughan better than any reporter out there, having covered him for years in Seattle, so we pick his brain about what this shift signals for the Redskins roster as they continue to rebuild, and what fans can expect from the 2015 on-field Redskins product.

There's a huge element of uncertainty surrounding the Redskins at the moment, but brilliant football minds like Jerry Brewer help shine a clarifying light on things.

Thanks for listening!
